Julie Kumar grew up in a village in India and moved to the US because of her husband Kishore’s job in the year 2000 along with her two young children. The Kumar family has been part of the Christ Community Church family since 2001. Their daughter Caroline is married and currently lives in Florida. Their son Ben lives in Portland and will be getting married in October 2022. Julie has served the church family and the community in many different ways in the past, and she is currently part of the Chaplain Residency Program at Kaiser Walnut Creek. She is eager to extend her reach to care for more people who are in pain and to give them hope. Julie is very close to her family and she enjoys working in the garden, taking care of her pet birds, and going for walks in the neighborhood.
