Pastor Janelle joined the Christ Community staff in 2015 and began serving as Associate Pastor in 2017. She graduated from Nazarene Theological Seminary with an MDIV and was ordained as an elder in 2021. Janelle and Jorge have been married since January 2022 and are fully embracing this newlywed season of integrating their lives and families, while also excitedly planning and working towards their goals for the future! Janelle is passionate about helping others to know their belovedness, serving and caring for the overlooked, cultivating community, and fostering the kinds of relationships where the church can wrestle together with what it means to love like Jesus. Janelle and Jorge fill their free time outside of work with as much time with family, friends, and fun as possible- whether it be catching the latest Marvel movie, spending a few hours coloring, laughing over a board game, cuddling their two dogs, playing video games or jumping in the car to have an adventure or visit family around the state.
